Jess Bryant

I bring over 10 years of experience working with leading literary magazines, academic and creative presses, and as a journalist. In 2020, I was honored as one of Editor & Publisher’s Top 25 Editors Under 35. I’m proficient in The Chicago Manual of Style, the Associated Press Stylebook, the American Medical Association Manual of Style, and the American Psychological Association Publication Manual. A passion for social justice, accessibility, and intersectionality drives my work. I am the senior editor at The Athletic and a part-time lecturer at the University of Louisville. I hold a BA in English-Creative Writing from Otterbein University and an MFA in Poetry from Eastern Washington University.
